Bananas with Orange and Cardamom

You will need



• 10 medium-ripe bananas (Cavendish)
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 teaspoon cardamom seeds
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 4 tablespoons sugar


Method



1. Peel bananas and cut in half.
Allow 4 halves per person.
2. Heat butter and sauté banana
until golden brown; place in a serving
dish.
3. Add the cardamom seeds to the
butter and sauté for one minute.
4. Stir in the brown sugar, lemon
and orange juice. Simmer until
sauce begins to thicken.
5. Pour over bananas and serve very
hot with cream.
